Greetings, I'm Jen Mendez, a veteran teacher with over 15 years of experience working as a classroom teacher in public, private, and international schools, as well as a lead forest school educator, homeschooling co-op teacher, and a homeschooling mother of two who also worked during this time. I understand and see education from many perspectives, and I'm here to help as an educational consultant.
As children will be learning from home this year, one thing that has always been true is now more important than ever: Children need a support network of adults who care and take the time to help in whatever ways they can. That includes educators, but just as importantly it means parents, guardians, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, and more. We are all part of our children's village, and we can all make a difference!
